Selvedge

This pattern was created for textiles magazine Selvedge in 2019. Selvedge is a bi-monthly journal that chronicles the textiles of the world, their history and their present incarnations, how they are made, coloured, used and embellished. The pattern evokes embroidery and is slightly different in its three different iterations and colour ways. The colours used (Red Madder, Indigo, and Mustard) are all equivalents of ancient natural dyes that have historically been used to dye cloth.
