A heavy, floppy, soft 100% linen with a very slightly off-white background colour. The printed fabric is 140cm wide, with a selvedge of approximately 4 cm on each side. 300 grams per square metre. This fabric is printed with our Oak Leaves pattern in a subtle, gently faded, non-bright, yellow.
Price is per metre. Multiple quantities will be cut as a continuous length.
This fabric is light-fast but should not be washed. Dry-clean only. It is ideal for curtains and cushions, but too light for upholstery.
This product is an experiment for us. We have only a limited quantity available of this first print run, and we may or may not have more available in the future, depending on demand. Please bear this in mind when you are deciding what quantity to order. If you wish to buy a larger quantity than we have available, please get in touch: we may be able to print it for you specially.
Linen is a natural material made from an ancient cultivated plant, flax. Flax thrives in the cool northern European climate. It typically requires fewer pesticides, herbicides and fungicides than cotton. Because its growing season is relatively short, far less water is required over the growing period.
