Into the coppery halls of beech and intricate oak
Here in Cambridge it is obvious that the season has begun to turn. The hedgerows are full of blackberries and the nights have begun to draw in. Although it is still August (just) our thoughts are turning autumnal. Here are a few autumnal things – some new, some old and trusty – in case you are feeling the same way. School will be starting soon and we have new Lined Exercise Books of the sort we were made to write our diaries in at Infant school.
