Moment of maximum green
Spring is in its full onward rush, and everywhere the piercing greens of new leaves are to be seen in their infinite variety. A moment of maximum green. It does of course affect our decisions in the studio, where suddenly green seems the natural colour to explore. Here you see swatches of a possible new paper hanging up to dry, the euphorbia that is in exuberant splendour just outside our door, the willows just coming into leaf around the mill pond in central Cambridge, vintage-style floppy ribbon in shades of green, plus other green things we made earlier…
